WR in the Fat Formation

Using a WR in the Fat Formation can give you a great advantage in the passing game.  A lone WR will usually get single coverage allowing a great athlete to become a force for you. 

Using a WR in the formation gives you a definite weak side and the defense might not commit as many players to that side.  This really opens up your weak side run (Wham).


Another advantage is if the defense commits 2 players to your WR you are now playing 10 on 9 in the run game.
